Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder to let you know that this SUNDAY 4/2 is the first wellness event at the Nature Center, and this month's topic is SUGAR.

As many of you know, 64% of Americans are overweight, and obesity, diabetes and coronary heart disease are on the rise. SUGAR, including the sugars we get from refined foods (like bagels and pasta), is a major culprit. But Sugar also makes us feel great and gives us energy. So what's the deal with sugar? What does it do to our bodies? What does it do to our kids? What do sugar cravings mean?

This is a participatory event for adults. That means it will be fun. You will learn stuff and taste things and take home info that should help you deconstruct your own and your kids cravings.

And it's FREE!!! 10am til 1130am at the Nature Center right here in Inwood.

I need to know how many of you are coming, so please respond to me if you haven't already. healthymom@gmail.com or 212-544-2367

I look forward to seeing many of you!
