Volunteers meet to plant and maintain the Highbridge Wildflower Meadow. Meet in front of the Highbridge Recreation Center at 173rd St. and Amsterdam Ave. Latecomers enter the park at 174th St. and walk east to the Tower.

Climb its winding iron staircase to enjoy the panoramic vistas of New York City's five boroughs. Meet in front of Highbridge Recreation Center, 173 St. and Amsterdam Ave.

Coffee Bark
First Sunday of every Month 8am-10am
Help with dog run maintenance and enjoy free coffee and doughnuts with friends and their four-legged best friends. Sponsored by the Fort Tryon Dog Owners Group. Meet at Sir William's Dog Run, Fort Tryon Park (by the Gazebo)

Fort Tryon Nature Walks with Mike Feller
Last Saturday of the Month 8am-10am
Explore the wild side of the Heather Garden and Fort Tryon Park with Mike Feller, Chief Naturalist for DPR. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you wish. Meet at the entrance to the Heather Garden at Margaret Corbin Circle, Fort Washington Ave and Cabrini Boulevard (No program Sat, May 28th)

Sundays 11am-12pm
Weekly walking tours of the Heather Garden are led by members of our expert gardening staff.
