Parlor Jazz at Marjorie Eliot's

Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Every Sunday for the past twelve years, rain or shine, with no vacations, a jazz concert has taken place in the parlor of Marjorie Eliot's home on what she calls the northern tip of Harlem. Her weekly free concerts in the living room of her apartment -- featuring different musicians and singers every week -- are legendary in Harlem and an institution for jazz lovers citywide.

The concert is free, though donations are appreciated.

What: community service event, sewing sleeping bags for the
homeless

When: Saturday, February 5th 9:30 - 1:00 pm

Where: PS 128 cafeteria, 560 Audubon Avenue (between 168 & 169th
Street)


Join the young people of FYI as we hand-sew sleeping bags for
distribution
to homeless people around NYC. The event features a dj, breakfast and
lunch, a few raffles, and a fun, relaxed energy . Youth need to be at
least
9 years of age to take part.
