Tuesdays in June
On Tuesday mornings for the month of June, I'll be
running a special class for moms, dads, caregivers and
babies at the Inwood Hill Nature Center. We'll meet
from 9:30 to 10:30/45 am. Part I will consist of an
easygoing, relaxed movement class for the babies. It's
quite fun. We'll rock, swing and sway to music and
play with props and baby-safe instruments. Afterwards,
we'll sit and talk.
Come dance with your baby. Meet other
parents/caregivers. Get new ideas for parenting
challenges.
$10 suggested donation

I'll post reminders prior to each of June's Tuesdays.
But please mark your calendars.
Babies = 2 months to 1 year (ish). This is not a
hard-and-fast cut off. If your baby will dance in your
arms, come!

Call for Artists: ART IN THE GARDEN 2005
This years ART IN THE GARDEN will be on Saturday, June 18th from Noon to 4:30pm. Mark your calendars for what we expect to be a larger and even better exhibition than previous years.
We are happy this year to be part of the UPTOWN ART STROLL which will be a great boon for our garden, area artists AND all the patrons of the stroll, who will have a nice rest stop as they traverse the Washington Heights/Inwood area art studiois and exhibition sights.
We expect this yearis AITG exhibition to include returning artists: Steven Beveridge, David Ferrando, F. Leslie Hampton, Bob Garlick among many others, who have been with this exhibition since this yearly exhibits inception in 2001.
This years exhibit will include a retrospective information wall highlighting the INWOOD AREA ARTISTS of the 1930's and an INWOOD INSIGHT banner which will be created by attendees of the exhibit LIVE!
We welcome new area artists by submission to Elizabeth Popiel [curator] via scenicdesigner@hotmail.com. Deadline for submission is May 18th so get to me asap.

If you would like to volunteer to "man the gate" that day, help set up, or run a concession, Please contact Ms. Popiel.

Come join us SATURDAY, JUNE 18TH FROM NOON TO 4:30PM for this exciting and fun event.
