On Tue., Apr. 5 at the Inwood Library (4790 Broadway 1-block north of Dyckman St.) at 6:30 p.m., plans for the 2005 Uptown Arts Stroll will be unveiled during a Community Board 12 committee meeting. Artists of every discipline are encouraged to attend to learn how they can participate in Washington Heights-Inwood's annual arts extravaganza, scheduled from June 14-19. Agenda items include:
* announcment of the winner of the Stroll poster design contest (all entries due Fri., Apr 1 - see NEWS section of www.wahiarts.com for more info).
* details on all planned Stroll activities
* details on how to participate as a visual or performing artist, including a list of possible venues
* timeline for being listed in Arts Stroll publicity
* volunteering opportunities
* introduction of a new Website that will serve as a database of local artists
* distribution of an artist survey to help draw resources to Northern Manhattan
